What are the dates for the 2015 Show?

The Show runs from Thursday 26 March to Wednesday 8 April, 2015.

When does the Show open?

Gates open from 9am. If you're coming to the Show to see judging and competition events that run earlier in the day, you'll be admitted from 8am.

When does the Show close?

The Show concludes each night at 9:30pm. The Coca-Cola Carnival stays open until late.

How much do tickets cost and what special offers are available?

Early Bird Tickets went on sale on 5 February and closed on 31 March. From 1 April, regular ticket prices will take effect. For full ticket details, click here.

Can I get a pass-out?

Customers requesting to leave the site and re-enter can do so by approaching the gate staff supervisor for a stamp.

What happens at the Show if it is wet weather?

There is still plenty to see and do at the Show if it is raining. More than 75% of the attractions and activities are undercover and the carnival rides still operate unless the weather is extreme.

What public transport is available to/from the Show?

The Show is held at Sydney Showground, situated within Sydney Olympic Park and conveniently serviced by trains, buses and ferries. For more information, click here.

When do the halls open and close?

General Admission
Entry gates open from 8am for those who want to watch early judging activities relating to the competitions. 
General admission: 9.00am – 9.30pm.

Where are the Showbags located?

The Showbag pavilion is located in Hall 4 at the end of Riverina road next to Coca-Cola Carnival on Australia Avenue.

Where are the ATMs located?

ATMs are located across the Showground in various locations. Refer to the Show map for locations.

Where are the baby changing and feeding areas located?

Parent rooms for baby change and feeding are located in the foyer of the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome, open daily 9.30am - 8.30pm and on Grand Parade on the side of the Flower & Garden Pavilion. All disabled toilets contain a fold down baby changing platform. There is also a Members only Parent Room located outside of the Members Stand.

Where is the Information Booth located?

The Information Booth is located on the corner of Showground road and Grand parade and is open 9am - 9pm daily, throughout the show.

Can I hire a locker, wheelchair or scooter at the Show?

Where is the Customer Service Centre located?

The Customer Service centre is located in the Southee building on Grand Parade. The CSC is open every day of the show between 9am - 9pm and provides customer service to Show patrons. CSC also handles all complaints and feedback in relation to the show. 

Where is Lost Property located?

Lost property should be handed in at the Police Station, located on New England Avenue under the Concourse, opposite the Schmidt Arena. Phone: (02) 9704 1290. 
Theft and/or loss of any valuables is to be reported to the Police Station. Lost property inquiries after the Show should be directed to Auburn Police station on (02) 9646 8699. Auburn Police Station is located on the corner of Queen and Susan Streets, Auburn NSW.

Where is the Lost Persons Centre located?

The Lost Persons’ Centre is located on Grand Parade in the Flower & Garden Pavilion and will be open 9.30am - 9.30pm, daily. Phone: (02) 9704 1236.

Where are the smoking areas located?

Smoking is prohibited indoors and at all catering or public seating areas of the Showground, and where indicated by ‘No Smoking’ signage. For designated smoking areas, please refer to the Show map - click here.

Is there a shuttle bus service available?

A FREE Shuttle Bus service to the car parks will operate 8.45am - 11pm each day of the Show on the following routes:
  • Between the northern bus terminal (Plaza Show Entry) and the P5 car park. 
  • Between the Dawn Fraser bus terminal and the P3 and P4 car park.

Where is the taxi rank located?

The taxi rank is located on Herb Elliot Avenue, on the corner of Australia Ave. The nearest entry/exit is Coca-Cola Carnival Gate.
