There’s heaps more for kids to enjoy this year with new and exciting entertainment and carnival rides at the Show.
Buckle up and soar through the air at the Kids Carnival with the three new flying rides, the Super Sldie, Red Barron and Kite Flyer. Join in the fun with the Ashton Circus Skills Workshop and meet the lovable Spanish sword fighting cat at the Puss'n'Boots Meet & Greets.
See Yogi and Boo Boo as they plot to save their beloved Jellystone Park. Casper’s Scare School tells the charming tale of a ghost who can’t quite do what he’s supposed to, while Alvin and the Chipmunks will have you in stitches when they compete in a talent quest.
Animals are a big part of what the Show is all about, and the sights, sounds and smells of farm animals are a world of new sensations for young minds.
The Food Farm sets out to answer a simple question – ‘where does food come from?’ – and turns it into an amazing journey, full of surprising facts, technology and meetings with farmers, vegetable and fruit growers, butchers and chefs – all of them passionate about producing great food.
The Sunday Telegraph Animal Walk leads visitors on an easy-to-follow journey of discovery through the Show’s animal attractions. Included on the The Sunday Telegraph Animal Walk is the Dairy Farmers Farmyard Nursery, where the kids can have a close encounter with some of the cuddliest baby ducks, chicks, goats, puppies and lambs. At the Dairy Farmers Milking Barn, they can watch cows being hand milked, and perhaps even get a chance to try their own hand.
Little Diggers is an enchanting experience for kids. Under supervision, they can plant a seed, take it home, nourish it and watch it grow.
