Sydney Royal Easter Show - 5-18 April 2012
There’s always a carnival of cuisines, a festival of flavours and a tongue-teasing medley of taste sensations at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
For the first time at the Show, in 2012 there will be a designated Food and Wine Garden featuring some of the finest food and wine that NSW has to offer. A range of leading wineries from across the State will be at the Show, in partnership with the NSW Wine Industry Association.
Nearby, Cafe NSW will provide a unique menu designed by Sydney Showground Executive Chef, Tim Browne, featuring Sydney Royal award-winning products, as well as locally sourced gourmet produce. Graze Alfresco Dining offers exciting international flavours such as fresh pasta and paella and showgoers can sit back and relax to the sounds of jazz and blues on the Jazz Podium while they sample all the best from the region.
A favourite destination is the Woolworth's Fresh Food Dome for amazing products, cooking demonstrations and celebrity chef events at the Australian Women's Weekly Taste of the Show Theatre Kitchen - and the chance to try some delicious creations from the wizards of the kitchen bench. The Dome is also the place to see the dazzling displays of farm products, arranged with creative mastery at the District Exhibits.
Or there's the Sydney Royal Deli for a mouth-watering array of cheeses, condiments, preserves and dips, all medal-winning products from previous Shows.
