Meet the Breeds

The DOGS NSW ‘Meet the Breed’ encounter is a great way for you to meet our wonderful purebred dogs up close and personal and speak to the breeders and owners for tips and advice.

There are different breeds on each day, check back regularly for a full list of breeds and the days they are featured. Other breeds may also occasionally come to ‘Meet the Breed’ after they have been in the show ring. Owners can chat with you about specifics of the breed including temperament, grooming and suitability to lifestyle, etc.

Alternatively, should you want information on any recognised purebred dog, please come to DOGS NSW Information Stand, next to ‘Meet the Breeds,’ where our friendly staff and volunteers can assist you with information on the breed and even give you a list of breed and kennel clubs.

BE RESPONSIBLE: Please make sure to be responsible and ask permission of the owner before approaching and patting any strange dog.
